Let the adventure begin…

Hi, everyone

Can you believe we’re well into the new year already? Although I must admit, January seemed to go soooo slowly, the relief I felt when it finally came to an end.

Not least because February brings us closer to finalising the sale of our little house here in France, which brings us a step closer to our Irish adventure. Something that until recently seemed so near, yet so far.

It’s as if we can now let our excitement build. We can start internet house hunting, making a list of properties that we’d like to view and the areas that we’d like to explore. We may have been to Ireland previously, but those trips involved family visits, limiting our stays to County Kerry and Dublin, so I can’t wait to see the country as a whole while we decide where to ultimately settle. No doubt I shall keep you up to date on our journey.

In other news, I thought I’d mention an exciting competition for all you romance readers out there. This year, the Romantic Novelists Association is turning 60 and to celebrate they’re giving away one 60 book bundle of books, plus 60 individual book prizes.

And as you can see, Six Steps to Happiness is included!

Just head over to Facebook and join the Romantic Fiction Book Club for more info and to be in with a chance of winning. Perfect for Valentines Day, don’t you think?

Speaking of Valentines Day, Bloodhound Books are celebrating with a half price sale on some of their women’s fiction titles, including The French Escape. So if you haven’t read it already, head over to Amazon UK or Amazon US to download your copy for just 99p/c

That just leaves me to say ‘happy reading’.

Until next time x

  1. Moving to Ireland? How exciting !!
I would love to live in Ireland. We spent nine weeks there last year travelling around the country in our small camper. I didn’t want to come home. Let us know how it all pans out.

    • What a great trip. It’s good to know you spent your time in Ireland in a camper, Marian. We’ll be campervan living during our house search! My son has taken to calling us adventurous nomads, which sounds far nicer than homeless x
