I hope this finds you well and enjoying a wonderful Summer.
It’s been a while since I last posted so I thought I’d let you all know what I’ve been up to.
2019 has been an exciting year in the Tullett household. We’ve welcomed our fourth grandchild, a baby girl who is absolutely delightful and the most perfect little bundle. I wish I could show you a picture, but we’re under strict instructions not to!
We’ve continued to work on our own French escape. The three acres of wilderness have been tamed. We began by getting rid of all the bramble around the edge of the property. Well, when I say we, I actually mean Robert, who then cut the grass down to a more reasonable level. It’s not quite a lawn yet, thanks to all the potholes, lumps and bumps, but from a distance we can pretend. Suffice to say, it’s been a labour of love and well worth the effort.
As you can see, there was lots of bramble to tackle.
At last, we have the grass down to ground level
Because of all the bramble, we hadn’t realised we had a hidden gem tucked away. We knew the river made up one of the property’s boundaries, but to find we have direct access to the water was very exciting. It will make the perfect little writing retreat, where I can pen my own tales from the riverbank.
This is what we found when we cut the brambles back
Speaking of writing, I’m pleased to announce that Bombshell Books have offered me another three book deal. I’m really looking forward to working with Bombshell again. They have such a great team and I can’t wait share the progress of my latest novel, Six Steps to Happiness, with you all. Watch this space!
Of course, in the meantime, if you love a good Rom Com and haven’t already, feel free to check out my other books here.
Until next time.
