The Guardian’s Not The Booker Prize

I’m actually in shock right now, Guys, because Little White Lies and Butterflies actually made the short list for The Guardian’s Not The Booker Prize.

guardian short list

It’s a great short list, with some wonderful titles and as this competition is all about reflecting reader tastes rather than those of the critics, I’m guessing it’s certainly done its job on that front.

Now each book is going to be reviewed and discussed ready for the winner being announced I’m guessing in October, something everyone is invited to join in with. And as the commentators are already saying, it’s going to be interesting.

Obviously I’d like to finish by saying a big thank you to everyone who voted for Little White Lies and Butterflies. Without you the book would never have made it this far. Now I’m keeping everything crossed for the rest of the competition, even if I am a little daunted x
